Job Description & Responsibilities
• Manage one of Better Place's most complicated products, integrating a wide variety of technologies into streamlined driver and operator's experiences.
• Direct different teams of wide variety including: Mechanics, robotics, high power electricity, real-time automation, management software, and civil engineering.
• Address the needs of the product throughout its life cycle from civil engineering deployment, and maintenance, to a smooth driver experience and an automatic operation.
• Provide product definition, architectural and technical guidance to the solution.
• Lead / monitor the development through the product development life cycle from definition, through planning, execution, testing, to successful delivery.
• Work closely with wide variety of departments in the organization such as Planning, Infrastructure, Maintenance, Customer Care, and Deployment to collect requirements and roll-out the solution.
• Investigate market trends and perform usability tests to enhance the solution.
Required Professional experience
• Mandatory: 6-10 years of experience, at least 2/3 years in Product management and project management experience.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary products, a proven ability to learn new domains in a relatively short time frame.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Education:
• BA/BS in Science/Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• MBA is a plus.
Required Personal characteristics
• Candidate must show leadership qualities, as well as being a product expert in his/her respective domain with significant experience delivering persuasive presentations to both technical and business decision makers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a small, fast-paced team environment where everyone is expected to multi-task and play multiple roles; proven ability to successfully work across teams and divisions.
• Versatile, capable of coping well in stressful situations, to deal with different types of employees
• Detail person, but also has the ability to see the overall picture .
• Motivated, performance oriented
